Here's what we usually get asked
Great question! The suitability of your home or business for solar panels depends on factors like sun exposure, roof condition, energy usage, and local regulations. Your property should receive plenty of direct sunlight with minimal shading, and your roof should be strong and spacious enough for installation. If not, ground-mounted solar could be an option. Solar is most beneficial if you have moderate to high electricity consumption, allowing you to maximize savings. We also consider permits, incentives, and utility policies to ensure it's a cost-effective solution. We offer free site assessments—would you like to schedule one?
How much can I save on my electricity bills by switching to solar?
The amount you can save on your electricity bills by switching to solar depends on several factors, including your energy usage, local electricity rates, system size, and available incentives. On average, homeowners can reduce their electricity bills by 50–90%, with some even eliminating their bills entirely.
Our solar installation process is simple and efficient. First, we evaluate your energy needs, inspect your site, and design a custom system. Next, we handle permits, install the panels, and integrate them with your electrical system. Finally, we activate your system, ensure everything runs smoothly, and provide ongoing support.
What incentives or rebates are available for solar installation?
We apply all available government rebates—like STCs for solar and NSW battery rebates where eligible—directly to your quote, so you save upfront without the paperwork.
Do solar panels work during power outages?
Solar panels alone don’t work during a power outage unless they’re connected to a battery backup system. Standard grid-tied solar systems automatically shut down during outages for safety reasons. However, with a solar battery, your system can store energy and keep essential appliances running when the grid goes down.
Do solar panels work on cloudy or rainy days?
Yes, but at a lower efficiency. Solar panels still generate power in indirect sunlight, just not as much as on clear, sunny days. Solar panels must also be cleaned every 6 months due to dirt buildup that can reduce the efficiency of the panels themselves.
